1. About the service

WhereWeEat is a community journal where people rate restaurants on food, drinks, service, location & atmosphere, bathrooms and price, and upload photos of their visits. You need an account to publish reviews.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything published from your account. You can delete your account at any time by contacting privacy@whereweeat.net.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the reviews, notes and photos you upload. By publishing them, you give WhereWeEat a non-exclusive licence to display, store and share them inside the app and in public review pages and previews. Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to share, and blank out any personal details on receipts you would rather not publish.

4. Fair reviewing

Reviews must reflect a real visit and your honest opinion. Do not post unlawful, hateful, harassing or deliberately false content, do not impersonate others, and do not publish other people's personal data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Automated summaries

The app uses AI to read receipt photos to suggest costs and to summarise reviews for a place. These outputs can be wrong — check them before relying on them.

6. Availability & liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that reviews are accurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
